The Lost Archive is a work of fiction — the world of The Legacy of the Lost, a novel saga by Hal E. Ohmson. It is not a real news outlet. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens when you take part.

What we collect

The Forum & The Echoes: the handle you type and your message text. That's it — no account, no tracking profile.
Write to the Archive (email): your email address and whatever you send.
Basic server logs (IP, timestamp) kept briefly for security and spam control.

How we use it

Everything you post is held for human review before it appears.
We may publish your contribution in‑world (in the fiction) using only your first name or handle — never your email or full identity. If you'd rather we didn't, say so and we won't.
We never sell or share your address. We reply from the correspondence desk; that's all.

Who can take part

This is a general-audience creative project intended for readers 16 and older. Please don't submit personal information about yourself or others, and don't send real emergencies or real news tips — this is fiction, not a newsroom.
