The Geneva forum gave the exchanges something rare: a clean, public disagreement to trade. In the sessions after Kronos and Aurora laid out opposing decades, their names diverged — not on scandal, of which there was none, but on which shape of grid the money believes the century will buy. Kronos firmed on the concentration thesis, favored by desks that expect a colder-hotter demand curve to reward big, steady baseload. Aurora rose on the distributed thesis, favored by desks reading the corridor-power leases and residential micro-fusion as a structural, not charitable, business. "It's the cleanest pair trade on the board," said one Cerulean Exchange strategist. "No villain, no event to forecast — just two credible futures, and you weight them." Castellan Capital, which finances both, stayed flat and content to. The read across desks: the market is not pricing a catastrophe or a culprit, only a genuine argument about engineering — and, unusually, it can profit whichever decade wins, so long as it doesn't have to pick today.
