Somaform's Neural Line Stays Under Review, and So Do the People Wearing It
With the safety review still open, the augmented wait between a promise of caution and a device already in their heads.

LAGOS — The safety review of Somaform Augmetics' neural-interface line remains open and contested this week, neither cleared nor pulled, and the roughly five percent of humanity now living with augmentation reads that limbo differently depending on which side of an implant they sit. Founder Julian Morrow, an augmentation-rights advocate, urges patience: "A careful review protects the people it studies." For Adaeze Nwosu, a thirty-one-year-old logistics coordinator who took a Somaform interface last year to keep pace at work, patience is a strange thing to be told to have. "It is in my head now," she said. "The review is about a decision I already made." Regulators say no timeline is set. The Enhanced desk notes the pattern: the debate moves at the speed of committees, while the devices move at the speed of the people using them.
