SINGAPORE — Researchers at the Singapore Institute say they are days from a demonstration they expect to run a processor past the million-qubit threshold over the Q-Net backbone, a step that would set a new mark for error-corrected scale. In a briefing ahead of the test, physicist Dr. Wei-Lin Tan stressed what the milestone is not. "A larger machine is not a faster message.
