Fusion Steadies, Water Firms, the Boards Look North to Winter
A brief on where the money moved as the season's worry begins to turn.

Fusion-capacity futures firmed on the week as the grid's clean run through the heat peak reassured desks that the baseload story is holding; Aurora Fusion Works led the complex higher. Water and desalination indices firmed too, as the eased rationing and the opening policy debate over metering and rights floors gave traders a clearer read on where the corridor cities are headed. Augmentation biotech held the gains it took on the Brazilian result last week without extending them. The quieter move was seasonal: heating-season capacity names began to attract the money that cooling-season names had held all summer, the boards rotating north with the calendar. Kronos infrastructure paper was steady on its strong quarter. The consensus tone across desks was one of settling rather than surging — a market catching its breath between the summer it survived and the winter it is starting, already, to price.
